Designed for their APS-C format cameras, this lens will provide a normal-length 45mm equivalent along with a 1:1 magnification ratio. This is made possible through a minimum focus distance of just 5.1" and a minimum working distance of 0.8". Also, it has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 for selective focus techniques and working in dim lighting conditions. Further enhancing usability is the inclusion of a Smooth Autofocus Motor (SAM) for speedy and quiet focusing. Additionally, it has a seven-blade circular diaphragm for smooth, pleasing bokeh.
